I know, aren't they?

I had to separate them, though. They fought a lot and Kini was keeping all the food away from Rorie. Also it was hard to pick Rorie up when Kini was trying to bite me. It's kind of saddening that she's become so mean, but she had a really bad experience in the pet store, and then she developed diabetes, which tends to make her weird. Also, I'm at school instead of at home, and my parents don't spend a lot of time with her (because she bites anyone who reaches into her cage) so...

I do have a funny Rorie story, though. A couple of weeks ago, when I was home on spring break, there were a lot of ants on the kitchen counter. I brought LuLu, my other hamster, down to see if she would eat them, since she's a Mighty Hunter and has been known to catch and eat moths, but she was more interested in crumbs on the counter. So I took her back to her cage and got out Rorie to try the same thing with her. Well, she wasn't interested in the ants (they were probably too small for her to deal with) but she saw the butter dish, so she ran over and started eating butter.

When I first had Rorie and Nettie, the other half of the original pair, Nettie would run on the wheel all the time. It squeaked a lot, so I got some shortening one day and greased up the axle. Well, Nettie couldn't get in it and run until Rorie was finished licking off the shortening. Luckily she couldn't get it all, so the wheel was quiet from then on. She doesn't exactly have the healthiest eating habits, and she's pretty fat now than Kini isn't stealing all her food.
