Yay! I got to go! But it depressed me. By the end I was about ready to cry, I want to show a dog so bad, but my parents think it's just a five year phaze! They kept calling the Am Staffs pit bulls and when the whole herding group walked in, they said, "Yay, the final championship thingy!"!!!!!!!! I was so meserised by the people sitting with their dogs at the benches that I barley even watched the show! I bought a "mooing" cow for Nino which he loves, and a pocket breeds book published in 2004 which spells Dalmatian like this: DALMATON!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so mad. Why don't my parents take any sympathy and at least try to make our next do a show dog instead of a rescue???? Now I'm all confused as to which breed(s) I want to specialize in. Of course Dalmatian, but what else? I'm going to keep it to only two breeds so I can really consentrate.( I will probably be around 25 before I get my first dog. ) I have quite a few years before I need to pick. Harlequin Great Danes, American Staffordshire Terriers, Neopolitain Mastiffs?? I have come to the conclusion that I will have to crop puppy ears in my future. (or rather, let the vet do it, but you know what I mean.) What do you guys think? I like short haired, big, wrinkley faces, hanging, sloppery lips, and a dog who likes to lay anywhere, like almost all the bullmastiffs were doing. Pictures to come when I get them off the computer.
