Poor Tiger I agree, it is us who takes all of their homelands away, where are they suppossed to go? What jackass's. I wish people would just get a little compassion in their hearts for animals. JUST because we can talk we are considered to be the highest level of species. I THINK NOT!! I mean come on, read this story again Does not sound to smart to me...

    Thank you so much Michelle!

I saw the story on the news last night, and authorities claim they couldn't tranq the cat, as the tranq takes too long to work. Next excuse will be......? Couldn't they have trapped it??

I was watching the recap on the news last night, apparently the cat was shot on live TV-After, the gents holding the guns kept looking up into the sky at the news choppers and when they realized they were there they covered the dead body.

It reminds me of the police chases here in Lost Angeles.

As soon as the suspect is caught the cops wave the helicopter light off so the news choppers don't see them beat the crap outta the guy.

Not that I condone beating anyone up. But those people that start those car chases put many people's lives at stake, including the police that are trying to catch them. I can't doubt that'd be my urge once I finally caught such a person.

RICHARD:The kitty was declawed and was a pet.>>>>>>>

If the Kitty was declawed and was a Pet,
didnt the owner of the Tiger notify the authorities?
I still do not understand why a tranquilzer gun
    was out of the question.

If they can tranquilize bears and other animals
    why not a Tiger?
Why/how was the Tiger loose in the first place?
    Where was the owner!

Why give the guy a "get out of jail free" card, a few million bucks,
and we get a cop trial and the possibility of a riot???

    KYS,

I know this sound stupid but you have to look at it from the side of the cat owner.

Better yet, think of the owner of a vicious dog.

The dog gets out of the yard a goes down the street and attacks someone.

You bet that the owner is NOT going to go to the cops, authorities or anyone else for fear of jail time, lawsuits.....

    a sad situation.

Yes the cat was a pet.....but I think that the fear of the backlash outweighed the love for the animal.
