Does it seem like you are actually hungry a lot or more that you are craving certain things? I know when I go through my "pig-out" phases, I generally crave specific things, generally carb-heavy things and salty snacks. If someone handed me fruit and salads during this time, I realize I'm not really hungry, just craving certain tastes. Maybe it is hormonal, I know somewhere in my mid-20s I went through a tumultuous time where I was particularly moody and my cravings for things like chips and pizza and soda were really high. I think that is when I jumped up in weight by 30 pounds . It seemed to last a couple years. It may not have been a hormonal change though, I also had a TON of stress and hardship going on so it could very well have been that. Things seemed to really start stabilizing again for me about a year or so ago and I'm definitely more level now in both mood and in actions.
