I don't quite see it that way. If a man cheats on his wife with another woman, then he's made a bad choice and maybe isn't a great guy. If he cheats with another man, that means that most likely (if she had no inkling that he was bi/gay) their whole relationship was based on a huge lie to begin with. Obviously he didn't "turn" gay, he knew he wasn't straight and led her to believe he was. Not saying that's the case here, we'll never know, but IMO that's a little different than an affair with another woman.
