Like you, I found the lump myself -- good for you for checking! The waiting in between mammos, tests, etc. is the worst part. Having the lump removed whether it's benign or not, is the best; it gives peace of mind. I had a benign cyst removed back in '96; the cancerous tumors were in the other breast and didn't show up on a mammogram; I found it myself.

Lots of cat therapy is oh-so-helpful in dealing with the stress and the waiting and they will enjoy the extra attention. Somehow they know when meowmie is worried.
