I'm ENGAGED!!
Now that the family knows I thought I could officially announce it to my friends, including my fellow PTers!
I have known my boyfriend (now "fiance"??),Jose, for several years and have been dating for two.
I was VERY scared to tell family, because I am young and I'm the "baby" and the only girl in the family. However, they were all happy for me, even my dad!!They all love him.
We are moving in together, within the next couple months. We are renting a basement in a cute little town home. I am taking Molli with me, breaks my heart to leave Sam, but technically he's my mom's and I can't afford two dogs food, vet care, and grooming! Our rent is very LOW! 500$ a month including utilities, cable, and internet! The minimum for a decent 1 bed 1 bath apartment around here is about $630, not including utilities or anything else.
We plan on having a long engagement, around two years to save up money and have time to plan with work and school. By then I will only have two semesters left of nursing school.
Just thought I should tell my cyber friends here at PT, whom have been in my life since I was 13 years old!
