All I did was pick up a cheap camera to start with 6 years ago and starting shooting. The camera prices have really dropped so there is a camera for every budget these days.

Wow Karen, your comments are too nice. My technical aspects are way off in many of my photos.....still a lot to learn. But, thank you!And I'll pass the comments over to the kitties as well.
The lens is the Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro. It's quite bulky/heavy compared to my other lenses, so I really need to get the tripod out and work with it that way.
