Just talked to the vet's office a few minutes ago. Jack had 15 teeth pulled - it took twice as long as they had scheduled - his two incisors (I think that is the ones she said - the big ones in the middle)- had very, very long roots. Dr. Freeman even had to use the drill which they rarely have to. They have kept them for us to see. Anyway he is having a hard time waking up from the anesthesia and they may keep him overnight. I am suppose to call at 5:50 to see if they are going to keep him or not. They pulled the two big broken ones up front too but she said a lot of his molars are left which are the ones he chews with. So he should be fine with kibble.
She said that he should feel better than he did before they removed them. I sure am glad of that. And I truly hope that this is the problem causing the weight loss. And that now he starts gaining some back again! Thanks for the prayers! PT prayers always seems to help the dogs come out better!
