every show would open up with this really creepy, deep voice saying "who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of man....." then an even creepier reply........."the Shadow knows"........then this Reeeeeeealy creepy evil laugheven thinking about it can make the "fur" go up on the back of my neck
The man's face was ashen. A whispered laugh came from The Shadow's lips.
Only The Shadow knew why the sight of his dread face had brought terror to this evil fiend who never before to-night had known fear.
The face of The Shadow! The face that was never seen except when disguised to represent some other countenance.
