I'm sorry to hear about your trouble. It sounds like the management at your job is really unprofessional.

I know what you mean about not being able to quit, too. My husband really wants a different job (The management there is also very unprofessional and everyone is pretty upset. A women who is pregnant is not getting any leave for the baby- and if she does take off, she is not getting paid for any of it. They will most likely fire her, actually, and he works at a hospital ) , but we cannot afford to make a lot less than his current job so he has to stick it out till something else comes along.
