I'm quite embarrassed when I am corrected but despite that I actually appreciate it. (Thanks, Staci, I'm one of those mamm-eio-gram people.) One time on the phone I mistakenly used the word appraise when I meant apprise and was corrected by the person I was speaking with. Of course I was and never have forgotten it, but I'm much less likely to ever do that again. So I welcome corrections from anyone here, it's a good way for me to learn something.
