Yes! Exactly that. What we figure is Paisley would hide out in that closet (she's still semi-feral) and Mouser is very aggressive with her. We think he went in after her and during the scuffle knocked the paper cutter in a way it caught his tail and off it went!
I'm just glad we finally got it solved and the danger out of there! The nice thing is I'm able to tuck the litter boxes in there now and the cats seem to really like it. Gives them a litte more privacy!
We will now keep our closets in better order!
