It sounds to me like your mother should just go ahead and send out invitations for a co-ed laid back party for you and Josh. Pizza and beer and friends. And, if you have to make a few phone calls to explain what's happened, it would be worth it. I mean, to call your guy friends and tell them that it's not so much a baby shower as it is just a party for all of you guys to get together. Baby gifts appreciated, of course.
