Thanks for the link, Richard. After viewing some of the pictures I realized that regular LA County Firemen are fighting this blaze, not just forest fire fighters. I don't know why I thought only forest fire fighters would be battling the blaze, but after realizing this I remembered that some of our motorhome friends are LA County Firemen. Two are retired, but they are still quite active with Fire Dept activities, so I'm sure they're volunteering their services somehow, and a few are still active (about my age) so I sure hope they're being careful and staying safe.
