Happy Gotcha Day Max and Speckles
It was eight years ago today that I drove up to your place to take you home. Your Mom and Dad could not keep you because they travelled on the job too much and they were very sad to have to give you away. They still love you alot.
Max, today you are officially 12 years old and Speckles you are 18. You've blessed me with more love than I can ever repay and God willing, you will be with me for many more years to come.
So, I say THANK YOU my beautiful purrbabies, and yes, you can have some treats today.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
