I'll take a brownie with a big glass of milk to go with it! I'll be sleeping in no time(after my laughing fit)

    9/3/13
I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.
    [/SIZE]

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

    When the dog bites
    When the bee stings
    When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

Slips into the bar humming this song. Oh, Wow!
Santa is here............and all of my favorite people!

The following story is hot off the email presses.

One particular Christmas, a long time ago,
Santa was getting ready for his annual trip.
    Alas, there were problems everywhere.
Four of his elves got sick, and the trainee
elves just weren't producing the toys as
fast as the regular ones. Poor Santa was
beginning to feel the pressure of being
    behind schedule. Then Mrs. Claus
announced that her mom was coming
    to visit.

This stressed Santa even more. When
he went to harness the reindeer, he
found that three of them were about
to give birth and two had jumped the
fence and were out, heaven knows where.

    More stress. Furthermore, when he
began to load the sleigh, one of the
boards cracked, and the toy bag fell
to the ground scattering the toys
    everywhere. Frustrated, Santa went
into the house for a cup of apple cider
and a shot of rum. When he went to
    the cupboard, he discovered that
the elves had hidden the liquor, ! and
    there was nothing to drink.

    In his frustration, he accidentally
dropped the cider pot, and it
broke into hundreds of little pieces
all over the kitchen floor. He went to
get the broom and found that mice
had eaten the straw end of the broom.

Just then the doorbell rang, and
irritable Santa trudged to the door. He
opened the door, and there was a
little angel with a great big Christmas
    tree.

The angel said, very cheerfully, "Merry
Christmas, Santa. Isn't it a lovely day?
I have a beautiful tree for you. Where
would you like me to stick it?"

...... And thus began the tradition of
the little angel on top of the Christmas
    tree.

Merry Christmas, and I hope you were
gentle putting your angel on the tree

Oh my, you two are sure giggly this morning. I'm still trying to wake up.

LOL Gini and Catland....thanks for the smiles. Poor little Angel got a bum deal!

All I need now is a Spanish Coffee and a happy brownie before I get to work. Work? Today? It's so quiet in here you could shoot a cannon though.

Can we please say a little prayer for Laurie who is sick with the flu and Kelly also. Kelly doesn't frequent the bar but that doesn't mean that we can't chase her flu bugs away, too.

Guess I'll take another brownie now. I need my roughage Although, it'll be hard to behave myself here at work. One day closer to Christmas! Wish it was cold down here. Anyone want to send us some snow? It's in the 60's and it's thoroughly depressing.

Well,Connie, did you like my picture? That was taken at my local Petco when I was volunteering with Cat Sense. Cora is the lucky gal I'm holding and she was adopted soon afterward.

At the risk of making Mrs. Claus jealous, yes I liked your picture a lot.

I think you must have been good luck for Cora since she found a home after you had your picture taken together. Maybe you really ARE Santa?
