I love black cats. All cats really, but black ones have a special kind of ... something. It's hard to explain. I love the fact that a lot of people are like, "A black cat? Don't you have bad luck?!" All cats to me are elegant and beautiful. But, black cats have a sort of mystery, a sort of secrecy, a sort of mystcal sensation about them. I don't know. You people are probably just about to go "Okay. Let me check her location... There's got to be some sort of therapy group for nuts like her..."

I agree with you somewhat wishkittens, I have owned 4 black kitties, in my life, my RB Sooti and my lovely lexie, have been very special to me, infact the weird thing is both of them share such similar personalitys, I joke that my sweet Sooti has been re-incarnated back in lexie, now who needs to be carted off to the funny farm? lol

They are considered good luck in Scotland and NZ, so there goes that bad luck theory, actually one of our members said she was scared of black kitties, if they had a bit of white on them, that was ok, that is kinda sad to me, I wonder who gave her these ideas, thats like the old halloween superstition coming in, which is pure nonsense in MO.
