I can alway's remember when I was in my twenties, I worked at this big plastics moulding company, part of my job was to deliver all the mail around the factory.

One of the head guys complained about my perfume, I wore CHARLIE in those days, I expect every time I left his office, the place reeked of it, I was so embarrassed

So to this day I am very aware of not over-doing it, trouble is you can never smell it quite as much as other people.

I know what you mean about getting instant headaches etc, sometimes I try the perfume's on at the counter, and regret it, because I end up shopping with a rotten headache afterwards.

I don't understand how people "over do" perfume. It seems like either some people retain scents very easily or they absolutely bathe themselves in the stuff.

I put about three squirts of the stuff on in the morning and I never leave a scent trail. You can only smell it if you're in my personal space.

I am wearing Clinique Happy right now. My husband likes perfume so.....

I have a girlfriend who wears TOOO much. I think it is because she smokes and she is trying to mask the smell. When she gets in the car I always open the window and she makes some smart remarks about "hot flashes." Some day.......

If anyone ever comes across Bill Blase Nude (the perfume not ...oh never mind) anyway...let me know. I love it and can't find it anymore.

I love Chanel No.5, Shalimar and CK One among others. My latest favorite is Rapture which my son bought for me as a gift from Victoria's Secret.

Don't you hate it when that happens?? When I leave for work in the morning sometimes I have to hold my nose all the way down the elevator because someone has taken a bath in her perfume. And women aren't the only ones. One time a man came on and I swear his cologne was worse than my cat's farts.

As for me, I do wear a bit and my preference is Joyful by Mary Kay.

Jumping around, estatically! ME!!! My SIL is a professional smeller...really, and she always gets us scents for gifts. She gave my Hugo, telling me it had all the stuff I loved, and I love it! My gf smelled me, and went and bought it the next day.

I also love Eternity and Il Bacio. I try to stay within my scent range, and always check with my SIL when unsure. The best part is when I get FREE samples from her...
