Naomi, consider what Cataholic suggested as it is a very good idea and I know it is easy for me to say, that you also get a much needed rest.

sorry to hear bassett is feeling insecure, im sure she will take a little time to re-adjust, hopefully thats all it is, she has been through a pretty big ordeal, im very suprised to hear you were not given any pain meds to take home, i know with my lexie she had been given an injection of time released pain relief which lasted for 3 days, but this was specifically mentioned to me, i would querie this if i were you,as bassett has been through a much more serious operation than my lexie, so im certain she would need some further pain relief.
Well anyhow good luck naomi and try not to worry too much, just give her a little time .

Good she's home, and - like the others have said - I think it's a normal reaction to hide after all she's been through. I hope she will feel much better and come out from under the bed soon!

Bit late here - but I'm so pleased Bassett is home!

Hope things are going well Naomi and she's decided to crawl from under the bed!

I reckon she's just having a bit of quiet recovery - I usually howl like a baby when I come home from hospital - most nurses I know say it's some sort of reaction - so I bet our best furgirl is feeliing the same

Very gently nosekissies to our lovely Bassett and hugs to her Meowmie too {{{HUGS}}}.

Yippeee!!! I'm so glad the hear that Bassett is home!!! Like others have said, she probably just needs the re-assurance of hiding under the bed. The poor thing has been through so much... I sure hope she continues to do well.

And it really is wonderful to be part of such a generous community. I can't believe the total that was donated. And to think that 99.9% of us have never met Naomi - and probably never will. Speaks volumes for the type of people we have here, and probably why so many of us love coming here and hanging out with all the rest of you.

Anyone heard from Naomi or Nathan lately? She's not been on AIM so I don't know if she's back to her house yet even. I hope everying is okay
