    Tibby doesn't mind it too much, but she thinks we are playing a game so she tries to eat the brush most of the time. Corkscrew hates being brushed, sometimes if he's half alseep he'll let me brush him.

    Mollie Rose = Loves is and comes running when I tap the comb on the chair.

    MooShoo = Hates it. He SHOULD, he has no fur! LOL

    Maya Linn = Can take it or leave it.

    Doogie = Is okay with it but bites the comb after a while.

    Carley the Curly Girl = Loves it, lays in my arms like a baby to have her belly comed.

    Eli = Loves it.

    Shortie = Loves it. Butts in whenever I comb anybody or even have the comb in my hand.

    General consensus - YUP!!

    Rest In Peace Casey (Bubba Dude) Your paw print will remain on my heart forever. 12/02

    my sammy used to think that it was a game, he would grab the brush wrestle with it, strangle it and kick it with his back feet, not ever waiting long enough to see if it felt good or not, but he was recently neutered, and the vet tech brushed him, I guess while he was still groggy from the surgery, when I went to pick him up, the girl had him in his lap brushing him, and sammy was purring like a motor boat! Now he loves it!!!l

    Storm seems to enjoy it and won't fight me. He's usually purring too. His mind is on the treat he gets afterward. This is why he's so cooperative. The only problem is that he thinks that when I get the brush out or after I brush one of his brothers that he deserves a treat. He doesn't get the concept that he must be brushed first then he gets the treat.

    Sunny can be good some of the time. I sometimes have to chase him around and catch him before I can brush him. Sometimes he enjoys it so much that he'll just stretch out and roll over to be sure that I don't miss a spot. Other times he's so wiggly and uncooperative that I have to keep chasing him each time I clean the brush out.

    Cirrus loves to be brushed. He'll stretch out and start purring very loudly. I haven't tried to brush his belly yet but maybe some day.

    Cassy (DSH) adores it -- thinks brushing is a kind of treat itself.

    Livvy (DLH) tolerates it, sigh... And she's the one with furball problems, of course.
    I'm sometimes asked "Why do you spend so much of your time and money talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty to men?" I answer: "I am working at the roots." -George T. Angell, reformer (1823-1909)

    Elvis can be in a dead sleep and if you open the drawer that his brush is in he'll come running. You could brush him for hours (even the "wrong" way!) and he'll never get enough. The other cats get a little tweaked out by it. Almost like they sort of like it, but it gets them all over-stimulated and they might bite the brush or scratch your hand.

    Ah, how could I forget that option for Lady Edwina! How generous of you to let your secretary do something to you you're detesting so much!

    Great picture!
