Wait, I'm confused. He said he wants to "be rid of you.." but he keeps playing this bullcrap game? Ugh. I don't think he gets that he is screwing himself over royally by being a jerk and playing these games with you and your things. Can he actually get in trouble for lying to you about these things or lying about the code. I just don't get what his problem is.

YAY!!!! i am glad that you are getting your stuff, and i am glad that you are not going alone. In my opinion hes a control freak and since he cant have you as his wife, hes trying other ways to control you, but kudos to you for standing up for yourself and saying enough! Good luck. Keep us posted.

I saw my stuff. I saw my stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks kind of like he went thru the house room by room and piled up all my stuff in storage. But I suspect that it was only done RECENTLY. As my 5 house plants were in storage, placed very near the back. I had to climb over stuff to get to them, but they're in my place now, they've had a much needed drink and I hope they recover.

Tomorrow Anne and I will try to organize it all and soon I will hire movers to move it into my storage locker where he will no longer have access.

I did also bring home with me the stuffed dog I had made at Build A Bear that is a Border Collie I had named Sasha. Amazing how something so small can make you feel so good.

Thanks Mikey! You are such an adorable dogger!!! KISSES for you!!

His kind likes to be in control. I was intimidated for years into doing what he wanted. I'm not doing that any more, I wasn't brainwashed enough I guess, so this was basically the last bit of control he had over me, my stuff. That's gone now. So really, there should be nothing else he can do to hurt me ever again. He's a horrible person and I don't wish him on anyone.

But it's over now!! It's all over now. Well, almost. On October 12 we will be officially divorced. The settlement agreement is mostly in place. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer and I'm pretty sure it's not a train any more!

It took Anne and I 4 hours yesterday to organize it all. Today I spent 2 hours going thru the boxes of my clothes and a few dining room boxes. I came home with 4 green garbage bags of my clothes - easier to carry. I've put alot of clothes into plastic bins that can stay in storage for now. So now I have SHOES and CLOTHES!!! Woo hoo. I'm exhausted but couldn't be happier.

Woo Hoo!! Glad you are getting this all handled, finally. Once this is done and the divorce is final you can move forward and never look back. I'm so sorry that you've had to go through all of this. But good for you for being strong and getting out of it.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

    HALLELUJAH! Well done!

Got 3 friends recruited to help me, figure it will take 2 hours to move the stuff from his storage unit to mine. Then FINALLY my stuff will be all mine again. I so look forward to a huge sense of relief Saturday afternoon. Thank you everyone for your support thru this.
