    A friend of mine had a cat who would always lick her mini blinds. We could never figure out why.

    Those are cute pics of Trixie with the blinds.

    My Molly has a habit of chewing the little plastic things on the ends of the cords to the mini blinds, and chewing the "strings". I drape the cords out of reach as best I can and hope she doesn't chew the strings that run through the slats so much that they break.

    Well my new shades aren't cat proof either. I don't think that they make cat proof blinds or shades. They're holding up better than the previous metal blinds but they have a few bite marks in them and are a bit torn on the bottom. Luckily I only have 2 windows to worry about so next time I just may try the faux wooden blinds.

    The pictures sure are cute though. Good luck with whatever you may find to replace them.
