I watched 'The Final Destination' with my mom lastnight...but I had already seen it in the theatres w/ my ex-boyfriend when it came out.
Tonight we are watching '9' with my little brother...but I'm in here atm because I don't really like it much ;/ and I rented '500 Days of Summer' so I'll prolly watch that tomorrow!

I saw the animated version of The Hobbit when I was young and it creeped me out so bad I refused to read Lord Of The Rings until two years ago. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077687/

It's Complicated - this afternoon. It was okay - not the best, nor the worst one I've ever seen.

    Hurt Locker- C+, B-.

A great story, not enough character development, the main "antagonist" shows up and never gets the chance to tell the audience how he got there.
Each little storyline/chapter is very intense but there is no connecting them to make it a cohesive story.

Disjointed and interesting, save your money and watch it on cable.

    --------------

I had heard nothing but rave reviews about HL and am now convinced that most of what is produced and packaged for the masses is nothing more that a director's chance to make money and TRY to put out a message.

It wasn't an anti war movie, nor did it glorify war. It could have been a National Geographic/History/Military channel one-hour special.

I saw previews of FMF and I would go see it.

It's made in the style of the old stop action movies -they move the mannequins/puppets a smidge at a time, photo them, then move them a bit more, then another photo is taken.

The preview was interesting and some of the jokes were funny. I really enjoyed George Clooney's interpretation of the character. And, I am not a huge Clooney fan!

Thanks Richard, if i cannot swap it for a movie i want to go and see , i will just go and see it, rather than waste the tickets, or find someone else who would like them.

Went to see AVATAR and I don't understand the hype _at all_. The visual affects were terrific, yes, but the movie was almost three hours long with a totally dumb plot.

    Dances with the Aliens?

A news program did a story about people who are depressed that they will never get to see the planet Pandora...I think they called it 'Pandora Blues"?

I saw 'Lovely Bones', although I hid in my hat literally for 3 scenes, I think it was a pretty good and interesting movie. VERY VERY creepy and dark though, VERY. The ending made me happy.

Hannah and I watched Disney's The Little Mermaid today. I haven't watched it in YEARS and forgot how much I LOVE that movie. I think we are going to watch it again tomorrow
