ya know, I can see small things like the knee hi, or even a scarf... but an afghan? Medusa's right, how did he not choke...
The strangest, most embarrasing thing my dog swallowed was a tampon (unused) he picked up on my daughter's floor... he was having trouble poopoing & I saw the string so I grabbed a grape leaf & pulled & was just laughing & laughing at this strange dingleberry
He needs to be watched constantly cuz he'll swallow anything that isn't tied down LOL

I learned (the hard way) with my RB Lilly, that if you see them passing something, you should never "help" it. Can tear the lining and cause internal bleeding. Better to contact your vet, immediately, if you see something like that.
