    Gorgeous photos! I've only seen them in the wild back in IL, when a family of 4 had built a nest in the huge oak trees overhanging the Art Center the summer I taught there. Owls are such beautiful birds!

    Gorgeous! I've only seen a couple in the wild, but it was always dusky out and they were in flight making for a not so clear photo. *laughs*

    Ooooh, pretty! I love owls.

    There are two great horned owls living in a big abandoned building in my town. Sometimes they sit in trees on opposite sides of my house and hoot back and forth to each other. When we have the windows open, it is very loud and strange!

    They are HUGE. One night one swooped down in front of my car while I was driving home. I swear, its wingspan was a wide as my car! Scared me to death!

    No pictures of them, but I attached a picture of their home.

    Wow! The first picture looks to me almost like a picture or sculpture of an owl. What an interesting face. These are such neat pictures! I'm glad you had your camera with you!
