So does that mean you're coming to the Hike Phred? Or were you simply being critical?

I don't know if there's an inside joke here or not -and I didn't see the original post- but the correct date is pretty important info. Mistakes/typos happen, I totally understand that. I guess what I'm really getting at is I sure hope Phred has thicker skin than I do as the critical comments would've really hurt my feelings.

If it's an inside joke (which it might be considering all the smilies), I'm sincerely sorry for butting in.

I'll think about it. How far away is it from me? I tried to look up directions but I'm not getting anywhere. Oh, Phred, help with directions please!!!!

How to Find the Husky Hike?

Here's a special MapQuest link the generates driving instructions to
the Hike from any location you type in as your Starting Location. >>>

MapQuest Directions To: Husky Hike @ Royalview Picnic Area

    Click on the link then **WAIT** for the entire page to load;
Tab or mouse to the "STARTING Location" fields and type in your starting location. The "Destination" is already filled in for you. Hit "Get Directions".

You may be prompted to verify the Destination -
Click on "their" version, and "get directions".

The closest MapQuest can do is the Intersection of Valley Parkway and Royalview Lane ...
Where the picnic area driveway turns off into the woods.
Don't worry about the "locked gate" - it'll be open all day.
Turn (south) onto Royalview Lane and follow it to the end - a little over a mile -
and you wind up at the Royalview Picnic Area in the "Mill Stream Run Reservation"
of the Cleveland MetroParks System, in Strongsville, Ohio.

There should be a Husky or two or three runnin around.

    Interested? YES!!!

    Doable? nope.

I was even thinking that maybe if Koli's not adopted by then that the other foster would be interested in taking her since he's farther south than i am... Then i looked it up on the map... I think that would still be too far of a drive for him.

I will pass on the link though.

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.

I had the wrong date in the title when I first posted it then Phred let me know about it so I changed it. I'm quite certain Phred knows I wasn't being serious.
Phred, I'm sorry if my smart a$$ comments hurt your feelings.

    Woooooooo-oooooooooo
Can you hear the howls of lament coming from the far east? We are REALLY gonna miss you guys!!!!! Hope you get a good PT turnout. It's always a great time and full of "photo-opportunities", all for a good cause. Angie, are you bringing honorary-husky Princess Sierrra again? She did great last year!

Angie or Phred, the first couple posts say this is a fund raiser -- could you post more about that? Do you need people to contribute per mile you hike, or how does it work? Could you take photos again this year? I think that would be a nice thing to contribute to in honor of Sherman and Bowser.

    Thanks
