They must have come from the same agency as the one I hired. He only wanted to notify me when faxes came in; he'd run and watch it, then run to tell me. I didn't need that service but he was cute so I kept him on but I reassigned him. Now he lies under my desk lamp to make sure it's warm enough.

I think she misread your ad. I heard that she thought the job was for someone experienced in shredding (as in sensitive materials). She read it as experienced in shedding. Quite possibly, though, your new assistant might also have some shredding skills as well. Nevertheless she would probably benefit from a pair of spectacles.
