Someone always holds the door open for me. It's especially annoying when they hold it and I am a distance away because then I have to run. But I always say thank you.
Same here lol. Mine's not extremely quiet but it's quiet and sometimes hard to hear.Originally Posted by cali

Yes, I say thank you. It's usually at school when doors are held open for me, and if the teacher is the one doing the door-holding then you definintely have to say thanks!
It's just been my school open evening and I held open the doors multiple times for one person I was guiding round, and let him go into classes and exhibits before I did. He never said anything close to thank you and looked at me as if I was dirt. He was so rude I wanted to see how far I could throw him through the glass window, but, as I was representing my school, I had to smile sweetly and continue opening doors from the good of my heart. Life bites sometimes.![]()
I was in a health club yesterday and I held a door for two "gentlemen" in their 50s. They didn't say thank you, they didn't even look at me. I was really tempted to say "you're welcome"![]()
thanks k9krazee for the signature!
Same! The worst is when I open a door open for one of my teachers and they just walk past without saying a word... not even a smile! I mean some teachers will say thank you but most of them dont....Originally Posted by JenBKR

I'm usually the one that's holding open the door for others.
I say thank you to almost everyone that holds a door for me. 1/2 the time I'm telling (nagging) S.O. to just go through and let me follow.

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.
