    Squiggly Down Under

What a sweet girl. Trying to keep her humans from getting too many calories. Reminding that defrosting meat at room temperature can be dangerous. Sharing the joy of getting all the basic food groups on a single pizza. Congratulations to a lovely, (and surprisingly trim), little kitty. And good luck.

Sweet Squiggly!! You had me laughing this morning as I read your story!!! I believe that you might have known several of the Clan Cats concerning your adventures with food!!! But, now as a senior kitty, you still continue to teach your parents the correct things regarding food serving and storage!!! You are too pretty to even imagine that you are capable of such outrageous behaviour!!! Many more happy years of good health, happiness, and gourmet delights to you!! HAPPY COTD!!!!

Sweet, pretty girl! Who would believe that such an innocent face could mask such outrageous behavior?

You should live with us, Squiggley; you would be fasting pretty quickly since there is nothing on the counters or out there to tempt you! LOVE the story about skidding in the pizza! (O well, their fault for setting it within reach)

I'm sure you've calmed down a bit. After all, you were just hungry, right???

Congratulations, pretty lady! Enjoy your COTD status today and every day!!!

    Squiggly

Congrats on being our beautiful COTD! You are simply gorgeous and deserve to be treated like a queen. I'm so glad you are with the sister of the man who wanted to take you on a one way trip to the vet. That is very sad. You are certainly better off now that someone appreciates your unique zest for living. May God bless you with good health and many wonderful funny adventures. It was an honor to meet you.

Squiggly, you're sure pretty! It sounds like you have a taste for some of my favorite foods! It does sound like you might finally have your humans trained. Congratulations on being COTD! I hope this day is special for you!

Squiggly, you are an adorable, fuzzy eating machine! We have a couple of those around here too and learned all food must be secured or it becomes cat food quickly! Glad you are appreciated in spite of (or because of) your wonderful, outgoing purrrrrsonality!!! Super to meet you - Happy Kitty New Year - you're a very unique Cat of the Day

Sweet Squiggly, I don't believe a single word that your human wrote about you! Such a beautiful face could never hide such naughtiness!

I so agree that pizza can smell so tempting, sweetie. The question is, did they bathe all of that delicious stuff off you, or did they leave you to lick that cheese off? You surely deserved some reward for such a floorshow!

Enjoy your special status today, beautiful girl, as 2005's very last Cat of the Day!

Hey there Squiggs! Well, it sure does sound like your humans were woefully lacking in the ways of felines! Silly humans! So relieved to hear that finally, you have them under control! Humans can be so difficult! Kudos to you cutie Squiggley on nabbing the coveted title of New Year's Eve Cat of thd Day!!! Hopefully as a reward, you nabbed a bit of pizza too, to celebrate! Congratulations to you adorable Squiggley from "down under!" Hope you and your proud peeps enjoyed a very special, festive and safe New Year's Eve celebration! Caught your awesome fireworks over Sydney Harbor on TV, btw! Amazing!!! Happy New Year and Happy Cat of the Day to dear Squiggley and his terrific family and mates!

What a GOOD girl you are, letting your humans know that meat should be thawed in the refrigerator or (if in a hurry) the microwave, NOT left out on the counter! And such a pretty, adorable girl, too. Enjoy the fireworks and your very special New Year!

    Two of a kind!

My Gwennevere introduced me to Gluten Lovers Anonymous, the club for cats who cannot resist anything that involves flour, no matter how hard they try. She too eats through plastic to get at any kind of bread, loves any muffins or breads on the counters, even samples goldfish crackers if they fall on the floor. My first experience with this was when she was a kitten. I had made blueberry muffins and left them to cool in the pans. I had trouble removing them but not her! She helped herself, threw one on the floor and had a nice bite. Bagels, banana bread, even a crepe once. She's the only cat I've ever had that gets excited if you put a piece of a roll in her bowl. And never eats the whole thing, just nibbles enough to ruin it. SOmetimes she will gnaw on both ends of a wrapped bag of bread.
