My supervisor pulled me aside today...

My first thought was "Oh $*%#, I did something wrong and they're firing me." Well, she said that there are going to be alot of changes made soon. "You and I are going into Human Resources, and that's why I asked you to document how you thought your training with Rosa (the receptionist) went." It seems that she is going to be the new HR Manager and I'm her assistant. I'm SO excited about this!!! I'll be developing a program for orientating any new employees, as well as doing testing, some training and typing up reviews. She didn't know too much about it but did say that when she found anything more out, she'd let me know and that it was VERY confidential. I didn't ask her about going full-time. But I do know that my hourly rate will go up to $15/hr.

I'll keep you posted when I know more. In the meantime...ssshhhhh!!

That's just great. It's always nice to know that someone in your job notices when you do a good job, or recognizes your personal gifts and utilizes them. I've always said that you're only as good as your supervisor thinks you are.......
