    Dale tries to keep cool in the heat *pics*

    As many of you know, my daughter has been living with her in-laws while her home is being built. I visited them yesterday on a very hot sticky day. They have a pond out back and Dale had the right idea. We were on a paddle boat and invited Dale to "come in, the water's fine!"
    "OK, here I come!"

    "Wow this feels good!"

    Dale does, what else, 'the doggy paddle."

    There is a little "island" in the middle of the pond and her father-in-law made this little bridge with logs and wood slabs.
    "Hmmmm shall I join them on the island."

    Dale is so beautiful. I love the one where you can see him swimming clearly. Looks like he's really enjoying the water.

    Wonderful pics Pam! Dale is just gorgeous! Love the pond. Do they have to worry about snakes? My Aunt and Uncle have a pond on their property and you have to be careful about Water Mocassins. My Aunt always takes her 2 Labs on her walks around the property, so they can warn her of where the snakes are.

    LOL! They were back home in the air conditioning! LOL! I do believe that Bella would have been in the pond right with him though as she loves water. Then she of course would need a good bath and blow dry!

    Par - I don't know about snakes. My daughter hasn't mentioned seeing any! She hasn't been able to get on the internet lately but hopefully after she moves (this Friday!) we should hear more from her and she can answer that for you!
