I'm shrinking, too

While I'm not shrinking as quickly as others, I am managing to shrink quite a bit. I haven't noticed it really except for when I put photos side by side like this comparison. It's really hard for me to do this, because I've *never* liked having my photo taken... but I've started taking photos with my cell phone (restroom mirror photos, sorry!) every month or so, at work... so that I'll have comparison photos.

Anyway... I've decided that being diagnosed as a diabetic in January 2011 really saved my life. I have a LONG way to go, but I'm getting there. I've never been little, but I'm back at the weight I was in 1999. I'm going to get smaller. It's a lifelong challenge, but it's something I can and will do.

Anyway, just thought I'd share.

I don't feel much different. My hubby said I breathe easier when I sleep, but otherwise I feel about the same. My mental image is still of me being super fat. Not that I'm NOT, but - you know... maybe I will eventually get over it.

That is a tremendous difference! Congratulations!

I am shrinking too...I don't really have a before pic! I am down about 15.5 lbs with about the same to go.

I attend a group for eating addiction so I can work on the 'fat in my head' as I call it and grow more inside as I shrink outside.

Slow and steady...that's the way to go. You rock!
