In Memory of...What A Pleasant Surprise

We received this in the mail from the Phoenix Zoo:

Our vet made donations in Gabby's name!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

I had a pleasant surprise like that too. My vet gave a donation in Taz's name. Although I can't remember where the donation was to. But I didn't get such a lovely notice about it. Even though it was still touching.

I think it is a wonderful thing. And it makes you want to stay with your vet. Even though I hadn't planned on going anywhere else anyway.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

This couldn't have come at a better time. With everything going on it's nice to see Gabby contributed to help vet care at the zoo!! Our vets are AWESOME!!

Isn't that wonderful. What a lovely surprise for you!
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
