    Finally Introducing my RB Stryker...

I have been talking about Stryker since I joined PT. I finally got 2 pictures of him scanned to my computer so I could post him. He was the most gorgeous dog I ever knew. He made me fall in love with Huskies! His father was a first generation mix between an alaskan husky and a german shepherd. His mother was a pure Samoyed. He lived to be 15. I loved him tons and still do. I wanted to show him here since I talk about him so much, especially when I look at pictures of white huskies, like RB Sherman and Glacier's friend Popeye

    RIP STRYKER!

Oh wow, Stryker was very handsome!! And 15 is a good long life to live. Especially with all of your love you gave him. How long as he been at the Rainbow Bridge now? I'm sure he's having a blast with all the other pets.
Thank you for sharing these pictures with us.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

He's been gone for 8 years and due to life circumstances I haven't had a dog since. I LOVE Moon and Bean but was longing for a dog. The time was finally right and we started looking for a YELLOW lab/retriever mix. We found Sunny on petfinder.com and thought she was a yellow lab mix but lo and behold...she is WHITE. I can't help but think she's got a bit of Stryker in her Stryker did have a great life and we were blessed to have him for 15 years. Thanks for the nice replies.

I absolutely love the first picture. It made me say WOW! out loud. He was a stunningly handsome boy, and looks like he was quite the confident dog. I bet you got stopped a lot when you took him out. Thanks for sharing him with us. And, yes, I think he had a hand in you finding Sunny.

Thanks Joyce! I still say Wow when I look at pictures of him. He was definitely a confident and happy boy. People were quite drawn to him whether he was on a walk or in the car.
