INTRODUCING MY BOY, ZACK! (tons and tons of pics)

Yep, you read it right! I adopted a Smooth Collie who will be 5 years old next month. He is exactly 14 days younger than Katie. My boy's name is Zack and I adopted him from Janna (Spiritwind). He is a retired show dog. I have had him with me since Saturday. So far I am finding that having a 3rd dog isn't any more difficult than having 2. Of course maybe that is because Zack is such an easy going dog. He is such a loving dog and very gentle. He can be a bit shy and timid and I think that is part of his charm. So far I haven't had too much trouble introducing him to Katie and Tori and having them accept him. Tori being her usual self doesn't really care at all. Katie, who I now call "Queen B*tch", is trying very hard to make sure Zack knows his place. They have had a few scuffles with one resulting in a bloody nose for Zack .
His nose is fine now. I have found out that all I have to do is shout out a loud HEY and they split up and go their separate ways.

I made my decision to adopt Zack on my own and I feel like it is something I needed to do. He has helped me out so much in the past week. I'm so happy to have this boy with me .

Now lets get on with the pics!

    Meet Zack, everyone!

He is a very handsome boy. Congratulations Robin on the new addition, and congratulations Zack for hitting the jackpot on finding the best retirement home around. It's going to take a while for sister Katie to get used to a new male in the house, but give her some time and space, and she will do the same for you. Had to laugh, looks like you are surrounded by female dogs in your new home (both sisters and cousins). But I am sure you will do just fine. It sure is nice to meet you Zack, and hope to hear a lot more about you and your gorgeous sisters.

Hello, Zack! You are sooooooooo handsome! Could you please have your mum give you some hugs from me? (Some for your sisters, too, please.)

Zach is just beautiful, Robin. I think he will be a great addition to your family. Although I will say 3 big dogs? Have you noticed that I keep adding little ones? But then space is at a premium in my house right now. And I don't like being pulled around by the big guys (yeah, I know I am suppose to have them under control but you get these wild things need a dog park and see if they have any idea of how to walk on a leash!)

Congrats Robin! Zack is a handsome fella and it looks like he's fitting in nicely (minus the bloody nose ). I look forward to more pics of him and your girls.

You are like me...I have my girls (Sadie and Maggie) and then my boy (Grant). I hope he brings you much happiness, seems he has a good start already.

The word is out ... the Zack is *IN*!

    WELCOME to the Gang, Zack!

Glad to hear the intros have gone "fairly well" ...
It's nice that Zack isn't demanding Head Dawg status.

"Three is almost as easy as Two" ... well ... sorta - almost ...

Get yourself a 3-way Y-Thingie and hook 'em all up for a hike ...
THEN tell us how it is with "only Three"!

Have you taken up knitting yet? --- Better take some lessons ...
When shedding season arrives - you'll have enough raw materials to knit a complete wardrobe!

    Happie Brushing!
He sure is a GOOD Looker!

Whew... glad you finally announced him to everyone. I was having a tough time keeping him a "secret."

He certainly is handsome and I'm so glad to welcome my new nephew to the PT family!
