    Hunter

A Golden came into my work yesterday named Hunter.
He seemed totally normal he was jumping around and playing with the other dogs. While we were drying him he just collapsed and it seemed like he fainted, his eyes rolled up and he wouldn't get up.
We took him out front and put him on some towels and he layed down right away. His gums were white and cold so we put towels over him and my boss just layed with him talking to him. We called the owners and they came and took him to the vet, they came back about a hour later and said they dont know whats wrong with him. I now the daughter so I emailed her and she said they had to put him to sleep that night because he had a heart tumor. She said they had to put the needle in the back paw because the veins in the front were collapsed. He was only 5.
I've never seen anything like that, it was so scary.
    R.I.P Hunter.

Oh Alicia, what a scary time. And poor Hunter, playing one moment and not too well the next. His family must be devastated. Fortunately the vet was able to find out what caused this. Not knowing would have been SO much worse.

Pay hard at the bridge, Hunter. Hugs to you, Alicia; and to Hunter's family.

That's terrible. His poor family (and you, for having to go through that). It's so, so hard to lose a dog completely unexpectedly like that..
