    How many pets??

    How many pets have you had in your WHOLE life?

    I've had 32 pets!! WOW!!!

    Willie (mixed breed dog)
    Sassy (Pointer mix)
    Blackie (Black lab....I was 6 )
    Precious (hamster)
    Fluffy (rabbit)
    Cottontail (rabbit)
    12 chickens (I named each one "Belina" from Wizard of Oz)
    Dumb Rooster (Rooster, he attacked us all the time )
    Mallard (our Mallard duck...again, I was now 7)
    Sidney (cockatiel)
    Fred (Siamese Fighting Fish)
    Lucky (rescued mix breed dog)
    Spencer (Springer Spaniel)
    Cobie (Parakeet)
    Madiline (Parakeet)
    Murphy (cockatiel)
    Herbie (Red Eared Slider Turtle)
    Faith (Dutch bun)
    Thomas (English Spot Bun)
    Noah (Orange tabby/Maine Coone)

    I don't know if you're counting fosters. If so, too numerous to mention!

    I have a total of 7 cats right now with Deke being Pet of the Week in my column on August 11th. I KNOW he'll get a good home because he's a sweet (formerly feral) boy with a wonderful personality who comes when you call him. How's THAT for feral socialization??

    - Ville, mixed breed dog (dissapeared and never got back )
    - Nappe, mixed breed, my beloved dog, first ever own pet for me

    as a child , I have had 6 cats , 4 canaries , and two white mice .

    Since my marriage ,- we've had 3 canaries

    - a cat named Sydney : black cat , went to the
    bridge on last July 22 2002

    - now we have a bunny , Billie , of 3 years
    a calico cat of six months ,
    called MAYA !!!
    so , that is 17 !!!!!!!!!!

    4 baby starlings (Downey sweetie hunny and Luke)

    Guy (fish and very much part of the family)

    Aj (parakeet)
    JJ (parakeet)
    Ottie (GOld fish lived for 6 or 7 years)

    As a child on the farm we had

    Doris pet calf
    Boy, farm dog that came with the farm
    Lassie farm dog, who was more of a pet than working dog.
    Scott her son, who we kept and was our pet in the city after we left the farm.
    Susie pet cat.
    kim pet dachshound (sp)
    Sootie pet cat
    Trixie pet goat.
    Cindy pet cat.
    Astra pet cat.

    Then we i left home i owned.
    Kelly pet cat.
    Kim pet dog.
    Tammy pet cat.

    When my son was young we had
    Stevie the budgie
    Ritchie the budgie
    Lickrish the Rabbit.

    And recently i have owned.

    Sootie pet cat
    Ash
    Lexie, (All my present kitties)
    Nikkita
    Ellie-Mae.

    21 In my lifetime so far,Not that many really.

    As a child:
    4 rabbits
    1 hamster
    2 cats
    2 goldfish

    As an adult:
    1 cat
    and next month.....another kitty!!!
    So that's 10, almost 11!

    Neat question!

    I've had/have:
    7 Cats
    5 Turtles
    5 Bunnies
    2 Dogs
    2 Hamsters
    1 Siamese Fighting Fish

    Plus numerous goldfish, tadpoles, frogs...

    The bunnies were a nest abandoned by their mommy in a field by our house. We raised them till they were bigger and then re-released them. The turtles were a nest of Painted Turtles laid by our driveway. We watched over the nest and raised the babies in an aquarium till they were big enough to be released.

    4 cats-Smokey, Puff, Charcoal, Mitzy
    1 dog-Lucky
    2 guinea pigs- Ann&Dan
    2 rats- Quincy&Lucy
    3 hamsters
    4 gerbils
    4 mice
    2 mallard ducks-Pecky&Quacky
    50+ fish
    1 squirrel-Gray
    2 box turtles- Bonnie&Clyde
    3 small painted turtles
    3 hermit crabs
    many snakes, lizards, frogs, toads
    Adulthood:
    3 cats-Storm,Pepper,and Sunny
    I may be leaving some out but that's all I can think of for now. The number would have to be over 100 animals in my lifetime.

    I need to change my count...we've adopted a new kitten! His name it Basil (pronounced baa-zel). Here's a picture, just in case you are curious.
