Aww they are sooo cute! I really wish I would have hand fed the ducks. Do you have any suggestions on how to hand feed adult ducks?
Thanks so much Ashley for the siggy!

My adults arent all that keen on it either, that is why I am working with these little ones so much. But the only thing I can suggest is to just sit in one spot for a while, with food, eventually curiosity will win them over. It just takes patience. Toss some food out at first, so they know what you have. Make sure it is something realy yummy, that they dont get very often. I know Peas are a big hit! all my birds love those!

Critter Crazy, I am wondering why peas? Do they taste good to ducks? Look at how smart the little ducks are, they know to swim up and grab one. They are so cute!

Ducks Love veggies, and green veggies are easier for them to spot in the water. They are just beginning to learn how to grab food under water, they are getting pretty good at it! All my Birds go nuts for Veggies!

Well aren't you the good mom duck, teaching the babies how to fend for themselves and get their own food! And we get the benefit of these marvelous photos! Keep it up, you are doing great!

Ducks grow very fast, but take a long time to feather out. So they keep that cute fuzzy look for a longer time than chickens! he he he!

They are fed Standard Starter feed, which has everything they need in it.

They were hatched out of eggs, brought from another farm, so they wont ever see their parents.

The water in the tub is warm, you have to be very careful with ducklings that they dont get a chill, baby birds are very sensitive to temps. When they get out of the tub, they get Blowdried of(on the lowest setting) so they dont get a chill.
