    New Aussie pup

My aunt and uncle and little cousins just got a 3 month old Aussie pup.

No pictures yet, they will come soon. My cousin might show her in junior handling, but I may convince them to let me finish her, which would be very exciting for my show career. They might do agility as well.

They don't know what to name her yet -- her current name is Peaches and they hate it. Her registered name is Touchstone's Ember of Mist so my aunt wants to name her something to do with that, like Emmie, but my uncle is set on Chili because she is a red merle. I suggested Cayenne which my aunt loves because she wants to call her Annie for short but my uncle doesn't like it. Any suggestions?
    I've been BOO'd!

If she was standing in my living room, I could probably come up with a great name.

If Ember is part of her registered name, why don't they call her that? I think it suits an Aussie and is a pretty name. I also like Chili though. I can't think of anything right now suitable for an Aussie pup, but I'll try to think of some.

I can hardly wait for pics! I absolutely love Australian Shepherds, and especially the red merles.

My Zoee has a red merle sister and her name is Annee!! LOL

How bout Cinnamon? You could change the spelling somehow.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I definately like Cayenne. Maybe Tamale? They could call her Molly.
I have a red merle and we almost named him chilie. It just suits that spicy color. Of course the people at the shelter called him Bobby but wanted him to be named fudge or something to the ice ream effect becuase of the markings on his little nose, LOL.
