Yup, those are what I remember, Lut, except the ones on the hotel were metal and I didn't realize they made them in plastic also. I really like those as they seem to not only block people from looking in, but they really seem to secure the building also.

And one question. Is that naw-tee Inka attacking poor Maya in the picture from the outside? That poor Maya is such a good girl for putting up with that little stinker.

Wow! Thanks for the info, Lut.

I'm printing the info out to see if they're available locally. Wish me luck.

Wow, those are some nifty blinds - I just don't think they would hold up well in this Northern climate though, with the snow and sub-zero temps . I finally just started leaving my mini-blinds open, and crouching down below the window when I get undressed so I wouldn't impede the kitty's view - God forbid.......
The legend says that Mohammed adored cats. When one of them was sleeping on his sleeve and he had to go out, Mohammed supposedly cut off the sleeve so as not to disturb his pet.

    READY?

Ed wants to go over to Grandma's house for a few minutes before I go to work.....

As I am talking to her, she looks over my shoulder and rolls her eyes into her head....

Edward had climbed on the table and using his paw, pulled down a few slats to get a look outside.....When I call his name he takes one more look outside---then drops his paw from the blinds......nothing broken, dropped or bent....always the perfect gentleman...
