Well the goose was NOT a hit, NONE of my dogs like goose at all, not even a nibble after offering it to them a few consecutive meals in a row. I couldn't believe it, Nanook & Kaige like everything, Raustyk is only picky when it comes to seafood & Indy is only picky when it comes to chicken yet nobody would eat goose.
They went without a few meals because they were not eating the goose. I finally caved Sunday & gave them something different.

    They each had:
    1 chicken foot
    chicken liver
    2 chicken quarters
    venison strip
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.

Sue, you can send the goose down to me

Today they all had tripe for the first time! Good Lord that stuff reaks! Yuck! But anyway, of course the dogs loved it! Mandy's been picky lately but she gobbled that right up. They also had lamb shanks.

Does your crew like Goose? If so have they always or did you have to entice them at first? If so what did you do to get them to eat it?

And yes tripe does smell something awful. lol I'm glad that my butcher doesn't get it all that often. lol

Cathy, some guy at the boat launch said there is a vein in the Jack which is poisonous to humans - do you know if that's true? Feel free to come on over, I'll give you a feast of Jack!

    Yesterday they had:
    Beef Chunks
    Chicken Liver
    Chicken
    Yogurt
    Tomato
    Carrots
    Banana
    Celery

Today they had kibbles as mommy was too tired after work and slept from the time she got home until way after dinner time.

For breakfast Visa had ground beef meat, liver, and heart, with bee pollen, parsley, alphalfa, kelp, and marine oil.

When I was making my lunch I gave her my leftover cuttings of cucumber, tomato, and green pepper and I gave her a couple pieces of cheese.

Tonight she is getting a chicken back with lamb kidney and beef liver.I'm all out of actual meat so chicken backs it will be for a couple of meals.
    I've been BOO'd!

    Breakfast:

    1 pound Pork Roast
    1 pound Beef
    2 Chicken Feet
    2 Eggs

    Dinner:

    1 pound Pork Roast
    1 Turkey Wing

He will also be getting some dehydrated buffalo liver treats. I bought them at a local pet store, Bailey always gets one when he goes there and loves them! I also bought the buffalo liver cat treats. I spent $20.00 on pet treats only to have all three of my cats refuse to touch them! At least Bailey likes them, he can have the cat treats too, they are the same thing, only smaller pieces.

Nope, they've never had it. Mandy might turn it down but I'd have a heart attack if one of the Labs turned down food ... or a brick for that matter. lol

Sue, I will take that goose! =P Goose & duck are Gonzo's favorites. How much does it cost in your area? It's like $2/lb here, so I don't get it often. Sorry that your 4 won't take to it, that's a surprise!

I just let the boys in from eating. They're happy, I finally got more lamb!

    Gonzo ~
    Lamb shank
    Snacks: Sardines & hard-boiled Egg
    Supps: Kelp & cabbage/tomato
Dessert: Apple & Banana Frosty Paw

    Fozzie ~
    Lamb muscle meat (frozen)
    Turkey wing
Snacks: Sardines, hard-boiled Egg, raspberries, cantaloupe
    Supps: Kelp & multi-vitamin
Dessert: Apple & Banana Frosty Paw
