Thread: A Plea for HELP!!

I am very happy that the dawg and kitty kat situation was resolved for both pets best interests.

However I do not think that Moosmom was out of order, when I read the tale myself I was concerned about Midnight myself and the way the story was told it was very confusing , I had to read it twice to get the whole story.

For the dog owners benefit just because a cat seems aggressive does not mean it will not settle in the right home, however I do not see a problem in an inside/outside home as long as the new owner feds, vaccinates and loves Midnight.

Moosmom is only showing concern for a unwanted abandoned cat and I commend her having a heart of gold and worrying about Midnight.

I hope Phred, Zippy et al can see Moosmom's posts for what they were...i.e. from a concerned cat lover.

Bless you all for helping both animals find their furever homes

I think it was more of 'how she said it' than 'what she said'..

How on earth did you get them to line up like that? I ve trained and raised mutts all my life, and unless i had trained them I never could have gotten them to do that.

GREAT pics Phred. Glad everyone is getting along. Sure makes things easier on the foster parents when they buddy up like that.

Bowser sure is a cutie! I love his short little legs.

I am just now reading all through this and have just cried and laughed the whole way
Catcrazylady told me about it and am so glad as I seemed to have missed Staci's crosspost. (Thanks Staci!!)

I am right in the middle of reading "Chicken Soup for the Cat & Dog Lovers's Soul" and THIS story has all of those same sweet and wonderful qualities and so much more!! I wish it is was something that could be shared with the public.

Blessings to Phred and K'Cee's meowmie and all the others involved in doing this rescue. Yup, still grinning Can't wait to keep reading new chapters.

Phred, these pictures are great. I'm so glad to see that all of the dogs are getting along. Bowser sure looks happy. Thanks again for rescuing him and showing him what a loving home is like.

Biscuits all around for being good dogs and getting along well all squished in the back seat - that's better than my siblings and I ever were! What a handsome line-up there, the picture of all four of them is great, and gives us a better idea of Bowser's size, as we have met the lovely Cinder and slinky sweet Smokey in person before.

Oh, Bowser, you cleaned up nicely, and are a one-of-a-kind doggie! Someone will surely want to keep you forever!

Look at that handsome guy, would ya?

Phred, we talked to my grandfather tonight who said to tell you "thank you." He also said that he was "mighty happy for the old fella" because "he's had a dog's life." He seemed so relieved to know Bowser is out of the nasty situation and on the road to a forever home. Mom's workin' on printing these pictures to send to him.

    Happy tears, happy tears...

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Phred you must be an angel! I hope you find Bowser a wonderful forever home. I wish I could take him. We must be neighbors as Berlin isn't that far from me.

Words fail me at what a wonderful rescue mission! I agree with Debbie, this tale should be written up for the world to read!
