I'd really like to put a string of swear words in here, but I don't want Karen to ban me so &&^%$##^%*&&*)&)(* is all I'll type.
I was laying on the floor with Paxil tonight and found a lump on her side. It's about the size of the tip of my thumb. Upon closer investigation, I found another one on her back leg.....right where the mast cell tumor was removed in February. It was a grade 2 tumor and due to the location they couldn't get a clean margin. The wound would have been too big to close if they had taken any more tissue. I was told there as a good chance it would come back within six months. It's been 10 months so I thought maybe we had beat the odds. No such luck though. Dang it.......
Paxil seems fine. She's skinny, but she always is and she can't have any fat in her diet as she is prone to pancreatitis. She's eating well, playing and acting like her normal self. I swear those two bumps were not there last week.
My vet is closed until Monday. I'll call him first thing Monday morning though. We'll beat this again. While you are praying for Nebo, could you add my girl to your prayers? Thanks.
