    First Agility Training *Pictures*

we have been waiting for a long time for this - now that Snowy is one year old we can join the agility training and today was the first training.

    Here are some pictures:

I'm used to having Snowy walking/running on my left side so having Snowy on my right side will take some time to get used to.

she is quite good with this one.. she can really jump

    I knocked down the barrier

cheating doing it the easy way

    more on the next post...

trying the tunnel, short one first

not too keen with the longer one but got there in the end

first time at the A-frame. we used 2 leads at first to help her but she mastered it in no time

weaving the poles.. needs a lot of practise with this one..

we certainly enjoyed it and learned quite a lot, we'll definitely go back next week

Your dog is just the cutest when doing agility!!

When my puppy grows up, she's only 14 weeks right now, I look forward to doing agility with her also.

Snowy really does look like she is enjoying trying something new. I am sure she will have it mastered in no time. She is a very smart little girl.

Great pictures! Looks like you guys had lots of fun! That's strange that she has to run on your right side -- over here, the dog needs to be on your left.

Maybe you guys in Kelowna are just mixed up 'cause when I was in agility there are no rules as to what side the dog has to be on... just whatever side is best to hit the obstacles in the right order in the fastest time....

Dogs that have been thoroughly obedienced trained often have difficulty switching over to the other side.

    *Thanks Ashley*
