Only 16 km from where we live now....

Only 16 km from where we live now, there is a beautiful lake. In fact, we used to live there, right in front of the "boat-hiring" aerea!

we lived in the appartment where you see an umbrella on the balcony. Here we welcomed our son Jo from Korea!

it was on this path that Jo made his first 5 steps!

It is very quiet and restful there

so, there are always men fishing! (I love that )

Within walking distance, there is a small animal park, with lots of different ducks, and lots of other animals too (inland)
    The duck area:

A cute house for white doves. On the 2nd pic, you can see a dove who is ready to go and sit on her egg (under the house)

Wow, what great pictures. We have something similar to that here...minus the park.

The condos are located right on the waterfront with a walkway just like yours and the marina is a short distance away. I once looked into the prices of the condos..... couldn't believe my ears.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

How beautiful! Looks a lot like a lake we go camping by (about 2 hours away).

    Lovely....and peaceful

These photos are so nice. Thanks for sharing them with us. It is always so refreshing to see such sights. We have had so much bad news lately, that seeing these photos, and showing us some peace and calm, is just what we need!

    Thanks again!

    Beautiful!

I'd like to sit on that path for a few hours each day and just absorb the peace.

    Thanks for showing us.
