Sweet Collie/Shepard Mix in need of a good home (locally)

My husband has a co-worker who needs to rehome their dog. Actually, I think his co-worker has been looking after this dog for a friend who just passed away, but they don't have the room to keep her, and aren't home much. She is staying with them right now, and is said to be a very sweet girl. I think she is used to being outside more, but does come inside too...She is 6 years old, and is said to be very sweet. She is well trained and walks well on a leash. She knows something is wrong and must be missing her owners, b/c she hasn't been eating well the past couple of days. She looks to be a collie/shepard mix to me...anyway...anyone nearby interested in adopting her? I live in Elkton, MD...near Newark, DE. I am assuming Rob's co-worker lives somewhat nearby...if anyone is interested, let me know and hubby can contact the lady watching her and get you in contact with her.

She may be all collie...but could be mixed...I am just guessing that she is mixed...I see shepard and collie. Whatever she is, she is beautiful. Sad situation.

What a beautiful girl, I hope she finds a good home. She has such a sweet face it reminds me of Sandra's Cody a bit.

I don't think she's full Collie, but she's definitely got a lot of it in her. What a sweet face. I hope she can find a good home!

Well, you should know my answer by now.

After all, what's one more mouth to feed? One more turd to pick up in the yard? One more leash? A few more hairs to pick off your clothes?
