Today is Harley’s 3rd birthday and 2nd anniversary of his gotcha day. We really don't know his birthday, but we got him 2 years ago today and they said he was 1 year old then. We haven't done anything special for him today yet. We have some presents for later and a special dinner. Harley is my special little boy. He sleeps with me and he is bonded to me as well as I'm bonded to him. He is the first to greet me when I get home. He is a very special little man.
One of my first thoughts of him at the shelter was I couldn't imagine this dog being a part of my family. Now I can't imagine my family without him.

This is the 1st picture I ever took of Harley. This was right after he met Sylvia at the shelter and they got along, so the adoption was finalized shortly after. Harley still had all his bits and pieces in this pic. He went into surgery shortly after.
