A few T&T pics, Quarry and other

I've been going through a bunch of pictures of various things for awhile and trying to decide which to post from this weekend. I decided I better hurry it up and post them since we have a storm moving in and a tornado watch out. We went to Quarry on Saturday in between storms, and Sunday it amazingly didn't rain and we spent most of the afternoon out on the deck just relaxing. I'll post the ones from Quarry first.

    ---

Well we got in over our heads on this path. We tried to stick to the sides and make it past the lower areas that were solid muck from all the rain but we ended up having to turn back, plus the mosquitos were eating us alive in this area! We were laughing and splooshing through the mud, and of course the dogs got filthy, especially Tommy who purposefully goes through the muddiest, wettest parts.

    ---

I was trying to get a pic of how filthy he was.

    ---

Another muddy trail, but we didn't attempt that one!

    ---

Tommy waded out some, but the water was a lot higher than it usually is and the granite ledges were slick and had snails all over them so he was more cautious than usual.

    ---

Daddy went out with him a bit. (Tash has nothing to do with water other than drinking it)

    ---

This one was blurry but I still really like it, Tommy giving his Daddy a kiss.

    ---

Tasha gives Daddy some loving once he's back on dry land!

    ---

I doubt David would be too thrilled with me posting this one but I just thought it was so cute with them standing together and looking out on the observation deck.

    ---

The next few are from Sunday afternoon. I pulled Tommy's kiddie pool out and cleaned it up and filled it, much to his delight.

    That's all!

Jess, the Quarry always looks like such a beautiful place to go. Its so green there right now. You know I love the daddy and furkid pics. So sweet! I can never get enough of the double T's. They just make me so happy and put a huge smile on my face.

Thanks for sharing your weekend with us.

Great pictures, Jess. It looks like the kids had a very good weekend. Hope you guys did, too. Hey Tommy, it's much cleaner playing in the pool, isn't it? Tasha looks so pretty lying in the chaise, such the little lady. I never noticed how long her tail was before. The pictures are great, thanks for sharing.

  5. Some soggy muddy feet that tip.
looks like they enjoyed themselves though

and i never noticed that Tasha's tail has black markings on it!

Tommy is a real water boy. Your pups are as beautiful as ever mate, and you go to the most amazing and beautiful spots too. I love looking at you adventure pics.

(Nice pic of David and Tommy, but I think I would side with David on that one )

Oh Jess, it is always so nice to see the "T's" on their walks in the Quarry, even if this one was a messy walk! Tasha seems to have kept her paws quite clean. My 3 would have done exactly what Tommy did! LOL!!!! Murphy says walks are for the birds and she would have stayed at home.

    Thanks for the great pictures!!!

I have to agree with Logan, I bet two of my three (Roxey & Bon) would have been right out there with Tommy is the yucky mucky mud (you know it's gotta be fun)!
You all seem to have such a great time on your excursions!

Thank you all. I guess I've been a bit wild with picture taking lately, I just love this time of year and in MN summers are to be relished to the fullest. Tasha does have a very long tail and it is mostly black and is also the shaggiest part of her body, I suppose her tail is more like a GSD tail . Tasha is my dainty, avoid mud and puddles girl but like some of you said about your dogs, Tommy will deliberately and gleefully tromp through the muddiest wettest puddle .

I love hiking with David and the dogs more than just about anything else in the world. I always deeply treasure every trip and for days afterward daydream and enjoy memories of the walk. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures .

Great pics k9soul! Love the ones of Tasha and Tommy kissing dad. You're gonna have to send Tommy over to show Oz and Gull the joys of water.
