Prayers for Connor please!!

Yesterday Connor's eye was watery and sore looking, so today I took him to the vet. It doesn't look good

His eye is cloudy, and the vet says it looks like the cornea or the lens is "separating" or something from the infection. He could not find any visible scratches or anything. Connor also had a very high fever, and he was so upset that the vet had to sedate him for the examination.

He had an injection today, and is on meds for 5 days. If it is not any better after 5 days, then I will have to pay for a "HUMAN" opthamologist to go the the vet clinic and examine him. (We don't have a vet here with this specialised training).

There is an 80% chance that he will lose his eye. I am devastated - my poor baby already is deaf and tailless - now if he looses an eye too, Ally will REALLY pick on him.

This afternoon he missed the litterbox too (he was still groggy from the sedation), now Ally has peed in the same place. She is hissing at him all the time, because he smells funny from the vet.

Please keep Connor in your prayers - he has been through so much already

Poor Connor, I keep my fingers crossed for you!

I hope the vet and the doc can help you- but if it comes to the worst we know you will be able to manage it- you are a strong boy!

Ally- when your brother is sick it would help your mom if you were a very good girl! (But regarding the fact that Tigris is sick now I must admit Filou is NOT of much help as he reacts rather aggressive

That's very worrying news about Connor. I'm really sorry to hear it. In the first instance though, I'll be hoping for a good outcome.

Poor Connor!

Hope the meds work, and his eye doesn't need to be enucleated. I wonder if Ally scratched his eye when you weren't around? Keep us posted please Julie.

I on the verge of tears, just trying to imagine what you're going through! I'm so sorry for you and even more so for Connor . . . poor baby! He's in my prayers for sure!
